PURPOSE OF THIS POLICY

This policy sets forth on campus residence housing requirements.

APPLICATION OF THIS POLICY

This policy applies to Freshman and Sophomore students.

EXEMPTIONS FROM THIS POLICY

In order to be excluded from this requirement, a student must submit their request in writing to the Office of Residence Life and Housing by completing the on-line Housing Exemption Form. 

POLICY STATEMENT

First-Year and Sophomore students who are single, under 21 years of age, with a home address outside of Pueblo County MUST live on campus two academic years (4 complete semesters).  Credits taken concurrent with high school and/or credits attained through Advanced Placement (AP) CLEP, International Baccalaureate or similar programs do not apply towards living experience.
